Job Description

• Provide legal counsel on energy-related transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and agreements related to energy projects.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance and environmental considerations in the energy sector.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support client objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
• Represent clients in negotiations and provide strategic guidance on energy-related disputes.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and trends in the energy and professional services industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
• Proven experience in energy-related legal matters, including transactions and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
