Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service through active communication and attentive listening
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy and integrity
- Assist customers with product demos, explaining features and benefits to enhance their shopping experience
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, attractive, and well-merchandised
- Perform retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and cash handling to ensure accurate transactions
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending complementary items to increase sales
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing support remotely
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written formats; bilingual abilities are advantageous
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations
- Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising techniques, and inventory stocking procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and cash handling purposes
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
