Essential Functions:

Assists in maximizing utilization of resources.

Provides training, orientation, and education of department staff to assist in maintaining staff's
competency and to meet changes of healthcare reimbursement.

Assists with development and maintenance of a system to ensure timely and accurate
registration and data collection.

Responds to written and verbal inquiries or complaints from patients to ensure expedient and tactful
resolutions.
Secondary Functions: All other duties required by Senior Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Skills:
High school graduate or GED. Excellent computer and keyboard skills with appropriate
applications. Ability to solve problems and to communicate effectively.
NIMS training within (3) months. COAP within 3 months.
Licensure:
None
Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years hospital Patient Access, Business Services,
or related experience. TruBridge and/or CPI experience preferred.
