Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center is in search of an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for our Rural Health Clinic. Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center is a hospital dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare to the Hope, Arkansas community and surrounding areas. We offer a full range of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services, as well as a 24-hour emergency department, an inpatient geriatric behavioral health unit, physical therapy, inpatient pharmacy services, and a Rural Health Clinic.
| Essential Functions: | ||
| 1 | Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, health histories, and screenings | |
| 2 | Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments as prescribed | |
| 3 | Assist providers with examinations and procedures | |
| 4 | Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care | |
| 5 | Document patient interactions and clinical data in electronic health records (EHR) | |
| 6 | Monitor and manage chronic disease patients in collaboration with care teams | |
| 7 | Triage patients via phone and in-person to determine urgency and appropriate care | |
| 8 | Ensure infection control and safety procedures are followed | |
| 9 | Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinic meetings | |
| 10 | Submit prior authorizations and referrals | |
| 11 | Coordinate prescription refills | |
| QUALIFICATIONS: | ||
| Education/Skills: | Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing | |
| o | BLS upon Hire | |
| o | Proficiency in using electronic health record systems | |
| o | Ability to work independently and part of a multidisciplinary team | |
| o | Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills |
