PAF Transportation CDL A or B - local delivery driver Monday to Friday

PAF Transportation an employee-owned company that has a driver-oriented team is seeking a Class A or B CDL delivery driver for the Auburn Maine location to perform local deliveries and pick-ups in central Maine. Deliveries include both commercial and residential. This position is home daily, works Monday to Friday with weekends off. All day drivers will be in a rotation to cover night drivers vacations.

• Our drivers must be at least 21 years old.
• We are looking for applicants with a minimum of 1 year commercial driving experience.
• A Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement or the ability to obtain in 90 days
• We are looking for drivers with a stable work record and strong work ethic to add to our exceptional team.
• Safe driving records (MVR as well as previous employers) are required for our employees.
• All drivers must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen, FMCSA Clearinghouse and meet DOT medical requirements for a one -year certificate at a DOT certified and PAF approved medical provider.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL A or B vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations following specified routes and schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents or delays encountered during transportation.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and vehicle maintenance.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
- Handle any unexpected situations or emergencies that may arise during transportation, ensuring the safety of both cargo and personnel.
