User Support Manager

TITLE: User Support Manager

QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree in an Information Technology related field preferred but not required. Minimum of four years’ successful experience managing and supporting desktop computers in a networked, multiplatform environment.

REPORTS TO: Director of Technology and Director of Food Services

BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Director of Technology, perform remote troubleshooting and support for a variety of desktop computers up to the point of LAN connectivity; provide consultation and support to users within the district on a variety of issues related to desktop computers, perform and/or coordinate all maintenance on district food services technology systems; coordinate the maintenance and operation of the technology support ticketing system; provide online and phone support for technology service requests for the district.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be able to install and configure new information technology equipment.
• Be able to install and configure new information technology software.
• Perform basic fault determination on all desktop computer systems when problems are reported.
• Perform basic fault determination on computer level LAN connectivity issues when problems are reported.
• Perform basic desktop food service system repairs and system upgrades as required.
• Provide all initial online and voice provided desktop and LAN support requests.
• Coordinate and schedule daily duties and work schedule of district desktop technicians.
• Coordinate all installations, upgrades, and maintenance to the district Point-of-Sale system under direction of the Director of Technology and the Director of Food Services.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Beginning July 1st and continuing through 240 days of each fiscal year.

EVALUATION: Shall occur no later than May 1st each year. Evaluation will be done by the immediate supervisor.

Salary : $48,719 - $53,022
