Forward Deployed Engineer - Data Center Deployments

PADO AI Orchestration, Inc., a new venture born out of LG Electronics and backed by LG NOVA, is revolutionizing energy management for the modern AI data center. We are on a mission to maximize Compute Per MegawattTM by bridging the gap between infrastructure constraints and the explosive demand for AI-driven compute.

Leveraging proprietary AI and machine learning, PADO provides the intelligent orchestration layer that optimizes power consumption, enhances site resiliency, and shifts data centers from static facilities to energy-aware assets. With the strategic backing of LG—a global leader in BESS storage, high-efficiency chillers, and liquid cooling—PADO provides an orchestration layer supported by LG’s world-class infrastructure expertise.

We are seeking a Forward deployed Engineer to serve as the technical face of Pado in the field. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of deep technical expertise and customer engagement, responsible for driving sales conversations, leading complex deployments, and ensuring our customers extract maximum value from our platform.

The FDE will be responsible for technical discovery and the end-to-end execution of Pado’s platform within some of the world’s most demanding facilities. Key areas of focus include:

• Technical Sales Leadership: Lead discovery sessions to architect tailored solutions for prospects; deliver compelling demos and proof-of-concept (PoC) deployments that showcase measurable ROI.
• Infrastructure Integration: Execute end-to-end deployments across on-prem and cloud environments, integrating Pado with existing DCIM, BMS, monitoring stacks, and orchestration layers.
• Strategic Business Case Development: Partner with the sales team to close high-value agreements by translating complex infrastructure challenges into clear technical value propositions for C-suite stakeholders.
• Customer Success Advocacy: Act as the primary technical resource for key accounts, training customer teams and surfacing field insights to the product and engineering teams to shape the roadmap.
• Operational Scaling: Build deployment playbooks and automation tools to scale delivery capabilities as Pado expands its global footprint.

• Technical Mastery: 5 years of experience in data center systems engineering, solutions architecture, or technical sales within SaaS or cloud infrastructure (or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience).
• Infrastructure Fluency: Deep familiarity with modern data center operations, cloud platforms, and the technical complexities of compute density and workload orchestration.
• Communication & Presence: Ability to engage credibly with both infrastructure engineers and executive leadership, simplifying complex technical concepts into actionable business insights.
• Advanced Domain Knowledge (Preferred): Experience with hyperscalers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), AI/ML GPU clusters, high-density cooling optimization, and PUE/sustainability metrics.
• Entrepreneurial Agility: A startup mindset with the ability to move fast and take total ownership in a rapidly evolving environment; comfortable with 30-50% domestic and global travel.
