Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Appliance Repair Technician role based in Bear, DE. The technician will diagnose and repair residential and light commercial appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and ranges. Day-to-day responsibilities include traveling to customer locations, performing thorough equipment inspections, identifying issues, and completing repairs or recommending replacements as needed. The role involves maintaining accurate service records, managing parts and tools, and following safety and regulatory guidelines. The technician will also communicate clearly with customers about findings, repair options, costs, and maintenance tips to support long-term appliance performance and satisfaction.


Qualifications

  • Strong technical skills in Appliance Repair, including diagnosis, repair, and replacement of major household appliances.
  • Experience with Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable appliance operation.
  • Commitment to Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to manage expectations and provide a positive service experience.
  • Clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in appliance repair or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to travel to customer locations in and around Delaware.
  • Ability to lift and move appliances as needed, and to work safely with electrical and mechanical components.
  • Previous field service or in-home repair experience and familiarity with multiple appliance brands are a plus.
