PaddleSMTX, located in San Marcos, Texas, is seeking an experienced Outdoor Recreation Manager to lead the planning, organization and execution of our daily kayaking tours. Managers are responsible for ensuring that tours run smoothly and efficiently, and that our customers have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the scheduling and coordination of daily kayaking tours, including staffing and equipment management.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed by staff and customers.
- Manage customer service and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that all Tour information is accurate and up to date on our website and social media platforms.
- Maintaining inventory of all equipment and supplies, and placing orders as needed.
- Provide training and supervision to tour guides and support staff.
- Monitor and analyze customer feedback and make recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications:
- Strong management and leadership experience.
- Experience in operations management, preferably in the outdoor recreation or tourism industry.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Passion for outdoor activities and kayaking is a plus.
This is a part time position and will be based in San Marcos, Texas.

Pay: $650.00 - $800.00 per week
