Warehouse Specialist

PacWest Machinery is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support its construction equipment branch in Spokane, Washington.

PacWest Machinery provides a full line-up of heavy machinery covering general production, aggregate processing, road, and utility equipment from well-known companies including Volvo Construction, Metso Minerals, GOMACO, Atlas Copco, Tymco, Etnyre, Yanmar and others. The company delivers comprehensive sales, rental, leasing, parts and services in Washington, Oregon and Northern Idaho. Essential Duties:

The successful applicant will support PacWest customers by filling these job responsibilities:

· Receive and process warehouse parts inventory (unload, record and shelve)

· Prepare and complete orders for internal service orders or external customer shipment (pick, pack, label and ship)

· Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits

· Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers

· Preserve safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet racking and workstation neat.

· Adhere to company and industry safety practices

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following (strong abilities in some areas may compensate for inexperience in other areas):

· Proven working experience as a parts warehouse team member

· Proficiency in inventory software and similar systems

· Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

· Good organizational and time management skills

· Capable of working with limited supervision (a “self-starter”)

· Ability and willingness to work both indoors and outdoors

· Professional and courteous attitude towards all team members

· Physical capabilities and dexterity are required (lifting up to 75 pounds)

· High school diploma or GED equivalent

· Forklift certification at hire or within 30 days of onboarding

· Must have a valid driver's license and clean DMV record

· Good references from former employers and colleagues
