Job Description
Material Handler - Forklift Driver
Norcross, GA
Compensation Includes
- Starting Pay Rate of $19.15/hour
- $1.00/hr shift differential pay on 3rd shift
- 3rd shift (Overnight)
- Maintain a safe, clean, and friendly work environment
- Accurately control inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, including requisitioning, receipt, storage, handling, scanning, and shipping
- Accurately account for all material movements, including in-plant product holds
- Perform incoming trailer inspections as assigned
- Read and understand written specifications, procedures, safety information, and packaging diagrams
- Accurately control inventory throughout the entire process
- Other duties as necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Basic math and computer skills
- Forklift certification
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Must understand Warehouse Management Systems and processes
- Work 8-hour shifts, standing and walking for extended periods
- Climb approved ladders and movable steps
- Communicate effectively in verbal and written form
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 65 lbs (two-person or mechanical assist required above 65 lbs)
- Possess adequate problem-solving ability and determine cause-and-effect relationships in office or manufacturing environments
