What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at Pactech?
We are seeking a proactive and customer-oriented Account Manager to manage strategic relationships with customers in the server and data center industry.
This role focuses on daily project coordination, customer communication, and account development. You will work closely with our Engineers and Program Managers (PMs), who provide full technical support, allowing you to concentrate on relationship building and commercial success.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts
- Track and follow up on project schedules, RFQ/RFI processes, and sample deliveries
- Maintain close communication with customers’ procurement, PM, and engineering teams
- Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams, including the Engineering team, production, logistics, and product management
- Identify new opportunities for design-ins and commercial expansion
- Prepare internal reports and participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
- Support business development activities, including on-site customer visits and trade show participation as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or project coordination, preferably in hardware or electronic components
- Experience working with OEM/ODM customers in the server, storage, or networking industry is a strong plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (Mandarin is a plus)
- Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and handle multiple accounts simultaneously
- Team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data center networking or telecom applications
- Knowledge of engineering processes and manufacturing techniques for internal/external connectivity and custom cable solutions
