The Role
We’re hiring a Sales Assistant to support our wholesale and marketplace businesses as we scale key accounts and build new partnerships. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who’s highly organized, AI obsessed, commercially minded, and eager to learn the business of sustainable retail from the inside.
You’ll work directly alongside the Head of Sales, and be embedded in day-to-day account operations across our biggest retail partners.

What You’ll DoAccount Support & Operations
- Manage new item setup forms and maintain accuracy across pricing, UPCs, and style data for retail partners
- Track order status, shipment timelines, and PO management in coordination with ops and 3PL teams
- Support EDI order management and chargeback resolution
- Maintain and update account-specific portals, vendor compliance guides, and contact directories
- Coordinate sample requests, product images, linesheets and content assets for buyer submissions
- Manage tradeshow logistics, attendance and support with sell in
- Monitor marketplace listing health, suppressed listings and content quality
Data, Reporting & Analysis
- Pull and format weekly sell-through reports, YTD sales summaries, and inventory snapshots
- Maintain Excel-based tools including pivot tables, hindsight trackers, and new item setup workbooks
- Support seasonal hindsight and sell-in deck preparation with data pulls and formatting
- Track and reconcile Faire wholesale orders, Nordstrom Marketplace performance, and Amazon 3P metrics
Buyer Communication & Outreach
- Draft and proof outbound correspondence to buyers, retail partners, and marketplace contacts
- Coordinate meeting prep materials, line review decks, and follow-up recaps
- Research buyer contacts, competitive set, and account-specific opportunities as directed
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with merchandising, operations, and marketing teams to move account initiatives forward
- Support logistics coordination for drop ship qualification and new item proposals
- Help manage timelines for seasonal deliverables across multiple accounts simultaneously
Who You Are
- 1–3 years of experience in wholesale sales, retail buying, account management, or a related field — or a strong internship background in a relevant role
- Proactive, resourceful, self-starter with willingness and curiosity to utilize AI tools like Claude to automate repetitive tasks
- Highly proficient in Excel; comfortable building and maintaining pivot tables, SUMIFS, and multi-tab workbooks
- Detail-oriented with a low tolerance for errors in data, formatting, or follow-through
- Clear, confident written communicator
- Comfortable moving between multiple accounts and priorities at once
- Curious about the business of retail — you want to understand the “why” behind the numbers
- Genuinely interested in sustainability and aligned with Pact’s mission
- Willingness to travel domestically 1-2x/qtr for trade shows is a requirement
Nice to Have
- Experience with NetSuite, Shopify B2B, or Faire
- Familiarity with retailer portals
- Exposure to EDI workflows or vendor compliance requirements
- Background in apparel, CPG, or consumer goods

- Salary Range: $50-55K/year Bonus Structure
- Hybrid schedule: in-person 2–3 days/week at our Boulder, CO office
