Overview
The Materials & Trim Development Coordinator supports the development and commercialization of trims and materials that meet Pact’s strict quality standards across all product categories. Working closely with Design and Development, this role supports new developments and execution for concept and seasonal projects. The role will help deliver materials that reflect our brand's commitment to sustainability, while aligning with product strategy, cost targets, quality standards, and timelines.

Location / Reporting
· Location: Boulder, CO (Hybrid)
· Reports to: Director of Product Development & Materials
Responsibilities
- Support development and commercialization of trims and packaging materials in partnership with Design and Development teams
- Execute development activities in line with established processes, timelines, and quality standards
- Partner with Sourcing, Production and QA teams to initiate and track material testing, troubleshoot and resolve quality issues
- Create, maintain, and publish material data sheets (MDS)
- Ensure all required artwork, MDS, and test reports are uploaded into PLM and other shared tracking locations
- Maintain and review development trackers, highlighting risks and late adds
- Request proto sample materials across all product categories
- Coordinate with suppliers on sampling and development deliverables
- Support cross-functional meetings and communication
- Maintain the physical and digital trims and materials libraries
About You:
- College or university degree in fashion design, material design or material engineering
- 1-2 years’ work experience in apparel industry, preferably in a Materials role
- Attention to detail, problem solving capabilities, multi-tasking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic workflow
- Ability to work collectively in a team and independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of different material constructions inclusive of knit and wovens
- Ability to anticipate problems, offers solutions, and address issues
- Effective communicator, verbal and written
- Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads, meet critical deadlines and manage multiple projects at the same time
- Previous experience in MS Office, Illustrator, and PLM is a plus
- Core commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility
Compensation
· Salary: $55,000 – $70,000 per year; bonus opportunity up to 10% of salary*
· Comprehensive health benefits, partially company sponsored
