PACT Charter School (Pursuing Academics and Character Together) has an opening for the 2025-2026 school year for a Long Term Substitute for an Elementary Special Education Paraprofessional to assist teachers with individual student needs served by special education within the general education setting.
- The hours will roughly be 7:45-3:15 on student contact days. Hours may vary depending on before and after school duties. Elementary could be as early as 7:40am and as late as 3:35pm. We will still consider candidates who only want to work a partial school day.
- Two years of higher education or Associates (or higher) degree are preferred or completion of the Paraprofessional Exam.
- Starting Step/Lane pay range is $18.00 to $36.40 depending upon qualifications. (See full wage schedule attached.)
Open until filled. The position is expected to begin 9/26/25 and will be 12 weeks long.

The PACT Elementary campus is located at 7250 East Ramsey Parkway, in the 420 acre COR Development and next to Ramsey’s newest park, The Draw, which includes an amphitheater, water feature, farmer's market, concerts, and other community events. The PACT Secondary campus is located at 7729 161st Ave NW, between Central Park in Ramsey and the St. Katharine Drexel Church property.The parcel has a beautiful line of trees and wetlands and provides a gorgeous backdrop for the new Secondary Campus. Many parks and an extensive trail system are readily accessible and connected by a network of trails that link The COR to the regional parks and trail system. Many people have chosen to live in Ramsey because of its rural character, wetlands, wildlife, and housing choices. U.S. Highways 10/169 and State Highway 47 are two main routes. Northstar Commuter Rail stops in Ramsey and runs to and from downtown Minneapolis.
