What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional AR Manager position at PACS?
General Purpose
Ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the region to accounts receivable processes.
Essential Duties
- Manage performance outcomes by planning, monitoring, evaluating and improving operations.
- Ensuring timely collection of payments.
- Ensure region is properly setup in Point Click Care.
- Monitoring the submission of ancillary invoices and compliance of Resident Trust Accounts.
- Setting objectives regionally for account receivable, aligning with region and company goals.
- Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special AR reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
- Participate in billing and payment processes including preparing bank deposits.
- Develop contacts with Managed Care providers to assist buildings with HMO collections.
- Teach, train and develop Business Office Managers in each building.
Supervisory Requirements
Assist with the overall supervision and management of Regional AR Resources.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration is
- preferred but not required.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in healthcare or Accounts
- Receivable.
- Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.
Physical Demand
Prolonged time at a computer. Standing and /or walking frequently. Sitting occasionally. Reaching with hands and arms frequently, pushing/pulling frequently. Talking and/or hearing frequently. Lifting to 50 pounds. Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling occasionally. Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception in vision: ability to adjust focus.
