Prepare and serve snacks and nourishments as assigned. Collect, strip, and wash returned meal trays and dishes. Safely operate the commercial dishwasher and monitor water temperature and sanitizer levels. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen and dining areas. Sweep and mop floors, clean work surfaces, refrigerators, and food preparation areas. Properly store food and supplies following sanitation and safety guidelines. Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the dietary department. Work collaboratively with dietary staff and other departments to provide excellent resident service. Participate in orientation and ongoing in-service training as assigned. Qualifications Previous dietary, food service, or restaurant experience is helpful but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, dependable, and eager to learn.
