Field Technician
Part-Time / On-Call to Start ■ W-2 ■ Agoura Hills, CA

The Role
Train hands-on with our founder and lead technician. Learn our system, then take on more responsibility, more independence, and more income as you go.
We’re starting this role part-time/on-call — a trial period for both sides to make sure it’s a good fit. The goal is to grow this into full-time as you prove yourself and we have steady work to support it.
Pay
$19.00/hr during training. Once you’re up to speed, your full pay structure kicks in:
- 2% commission on team jobs, 4% on solo jobs
- $5–$50/day performance bonus
- Commission on upsells you bring in

What You'll Do
- Train on carpet, rug, stone, upholstery, and floor care
- Run jobs using our C.S.E.R.C. procedure
- Walk customers through the job scope before starting
- Set up, operate, and break down equipment
- Communicate professionally and handle issues calmly
- Log every job in HouseCall Pro before leaving
- Collect payment on-site
- Flag upsell opportunities for the office
- Keep the company van maintained
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable with hands-on work (cleaning/trades a plus)
- Reliable — on time, in uniform, ready to work
- Coachable — follows our system, asks good questions
- Professional with customers, even under pressure
- Wants to grow — not just fill hours
- Valid driver’s license
Not a fit if you:
- Prefer to wing it instead of follow a proven system
- Want something short-term or temporary
- Have a history of job-hopping without clear reasons
Requirements
- Valid CA driver’s license, clean or clearable record
- Reliable transportation to Job Sites
- Able to lift, kneel, and work in customers’ homes
- Pass a background check and MVR review before day one
- Smartphone for our scheduling and time-tracking apps
Growth Path
Observer → Assistant → Co-Technician → Independent Field Tech (own van, full pay) → Lead Technician.
