Summary
We are seeking a Production Operator to join our dynamic team at Pacon Manufacturing Corporation. In this role, you will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production. Responsible for ensuring worker safety, coordinating tasks and achieving production goals. Your expertise will help us continue to produce exceptional products that meet our customers' needs.
Responsibilities
- Operates production equipment and machines in accordance with specifications.
- Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
- Measures finished parts ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
- Maintains logs and records number of units produced including errors resulting in rejected pieces.
- Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
- Verify correct products are being produced including correct lot numbers and control numbers according to the assigned schedule
- Interface with maintenance mechanics as needed to resolve equipment issues
- Work closely with the QA Inspectors to understand and correct quality issues
- Identify and address issues contributing to below standard outputs by taking an active role in improving process efficiencies
- Complete all documentation accurately and timely.
- Maintains a high level of GMP & safety awareness adhering to all established safety policies and procedures.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area, documenting machine sanitation & cleaning.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Production Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrates good attendance and punctuality by consistently being at work and on time.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to assess products for quality compliance.
- Meets productivity standards, completes work in a timely manner.
- Observes safety procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
