Position Summary:
The Project Controls Support Specialist oversees the workflow and scheduling of TAA review activities, ensuring timely execution of deliverables. This role provides administrative and analytical support to review teams and project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Track review milestones, deadlines, task orders, and status for each project under the TAA program.
Maintain centralized logs of comments, submissions, and reviewer assignments.
Generate weekly and monthly reports on progress, aging reviews, and performance metrics.
Coordinate closely with the Port Authority’s project management teams to forecast staffing needs and resolve bottlenecks.
Use project management software to support real-time tracking and communications.
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
3 years of experience in project coordination or project controls on A/E/C projects.
Proficiency with scheduling and tracking tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, Smartsheet).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with public agency processes and reporting requirements is a plus.
