What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at PACKRITE LLC?
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Quality Inspector is primarily responsible for ensuring conformity of components received that will be converted into a finished product, as well as performing in-process inspections/audits of each work center within the production area. This position will also be responsible for performing ANSI inspections.
Essential Functions/Skills
- Perform and document (in a timely manner) inspections of materials received.
- Perform and document in-process quality inspections at production equipment.
- Assist in ensuring any nonconforming materials are identified, isolated and controlled.
- Perform, document (in a timely manner) and react appropriately to ANSI inspections.
- Complete destructive and non-destructive testing using prescribed test methods and lab equipment.
- Ensure correct scrap and line clearance procedures are followed.
- Maintain computer data files (MS Excel).
- Transfer learning across teams through training of others.

This job operates in a manufacturing environment. Temperature is uncontrolled, and there is heat, dust, noise, fumes, moving equipment and machinery

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Equivalent training, certifications, or experience for listed competencies
2 or more years’ experience in similar or related position(s)
