Job Description
The successful candidate will oversee the parts department, ensuring accurate inventory management and supervising staff. Key responsibilities include:

1. Forecasting goals and objectives for the parts department
2. Hiring, training, and monitoring the performance of all parts department staff
3. Maintaining inventory consistent with the requirements for various departments
4. Creating pricing guidelines for customer categories
5. Monitoring inventory for accuracy
6. Guaranteeing all parts are properly tagged
7. Supervising stock order procedures
8. Working closely with the service manager to ensure timely turnaround of parts needed
9. Providing technical assistance when necessary
10. Developing and enforcing guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
11. Enforcing safety requirements
12. Maintaining a professional appearance
13. Creating a yearly budget and plan to ensure department profitability
14. Implementing department efficiencies

Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. 3 to 5 years prior managerial experience
2. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
3. The ability to work well in a team environment and effectively manage time
4. Proven follow-up and organizational skills
5. The ability to read, analyze, and interpret written information and instructions
6. Superior communication and customer service skills
