- Forecasting goals and objectives for the parts department
- Hiring, training, and monitoring the performance of all parts department staff
- Maintaining inventory consistent with the requirements for various departments
- Creating pricing guidelines for customer categories
- Monitoring inventory for accuracy
- Guaranteeing all parts are properly tagged
- Supervising stock order procedures
- Working closely with the service manager to ensure timely turnaround of parts needed
- Providing technical assistance when necessary
- Developing and enforcing guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Enforcing safety requirements
- Maintaining a professional appearance
- Creating a yearly budget and plan to ensure department profitability
- Implementing department efficiencies

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3 to 5 years prior managerial experience
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- The ability to work well in a team environment and effectively manage time
- Proven follow-up and organizational skills
- The ability to read, analyze, and interpret written information and instructions
- Superior communication and customer service skills
