Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and wait on walk in customers
- Learn the parts catalog
- Complete all necessary parts training
- Assist with processing and filling the salesman's orders
- Assist with set up and tear down of parts displays
- Assist with shipments as they arrive
- Stock the product once it is processed
- Stock shelves as needed from the overstocked area
- Keep shipping and receiving area clean and organized.
Essential functions:
- Ability to lift up to 75# (10% of daily work)
- Ability stand and walk (95% of daily work)
- Incoming and outgoing parts and material processing
- Loading and unloading trucks – sometimes by hand
- Competency in basic computer functions.
Qualifications:
- Skills: Organization and attention to detail is a must.
- Experience: None required
- Licenses: Good driving record. CDL helpful, but not necessary
- Specialized training: Operation of forklift helpful, but not necessary. You will be required to obtain forklift certification once employed.
