Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist walk-in customers with professionalism and accuracy.
- Learn and effectively utilize the parts catalog to source and identify parts.
- Complete all required parts and product training.
- Assist with processing and fulfilling orders generated by the sales team.
- Support set-up and tear-down of parts displays for promotions or events.
- Aid in receiving shipments as they arrive, ensuring accurate processing.
- Stock and organize products once processed, including replenishing shelves from overstock.
- Maintain a clean, organized shipping and receiving area.
- Manage and oversee the delivery driver workflow, including preparation, routing, and tracking of outgoing deliveries.
- Assist in the overall management of the department
Essential functions:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. (approximately 10% of daily work).
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (approximately 95% of daily work).
- Perform all incoming and outgoing parts and materials processing.
- Load and unload trucks, including manual handling as needed.
- Competency with basic computer functions and inventory systems.
Qualifications:
- Skills: Organization and attention to detail is a must.
- Experience:3-5 years parts experience preferred, prior leadership experience preferred
- Licenses: Good driving record.
- Specialized training: Operation of forklift helpful, but not necessary. You will be required to obtain forklift certification once employed.
