Project Manager

The Opportunity
PTI is looking for a Project Manager to join our team and lead customer-facing manufacturing programs from kickoff through delivery. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys managing projects, building strong customer relationships, coordinating teams, and taking ownership of results.

Position Details
- Location: Hawthorne, NY — On-site 5 days per week
- Salary: $85,000 to $105,000 per year *dependent on experience*
- Employment: Full-Time
- PTO: 2 weeks paid time off

What You'll Do
- Manage customer-facing manufacturing projects from kickoff through delivery, keeping scope, schedule, budget, and quality on track.
- Serve as the primary customer contact and build strong, professional relationships throughout the project.
- Coordinate engineering, operations, quality, service, and other internal teams to meet project milestones.
- Lead project kickoff meetings, status reviews, and customer site visits.
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, and documentation using Monday.com
- Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and changing priorities.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to manage scope changes, schedules, and resource needs.
- Maintain accurate project records, including meeting notes, action items, change orders, and delivery documentation.
- Follow and support PTI’s PMO processes, tools, and project governance standards.
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of project management experience in manufacturing, industrial, or capital equipment.
- Experience managing customer-facing projects and working directly with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects moving forward.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Willingness to learn and consistently use PTI’s project management tools and processes.
- Ability to work on-site in Hawthorne, NY, five days per week.
- Ability to travel approximately 10–15% to customer sites.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Monday.com
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, packaging, or inspection equipment.
