Warehouse Lead Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead Associate to help oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure efficient inventory management, and lead a team of warehouse staff. This role requires strong leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of warehouse processes, and the ability to coordinate logistics effectively. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in warehouse management, experience with warehouse systems, and a commitment to safety standards such as OSHA regulations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to process improvements and support the overall success of our distribution operations.

Duties

• Lead and supervise warehouse team members to ensure productivity and adherence to safety protocols
• Manage inventory control, including tracking stock levels
• Oversee shipping & receiving operations, ensuring timely processing of materials and products
• Coordinate warehouse distribution activities to optimize flow and reduce delays
• Utilize forklift and mechanical knowledge for materials handling, heavy lifting, and equipment operation
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy in logistics workflows
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety regulations across all warehouse activities
• Support e-commerce order fulfillment processes, including picking, packing, and shipping orders
• Maintain accurate documentation related to inventory movements and shipping records

Skills

• Proven experience in warehousing, including team supervision and process improvement
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, shipping & receiving, and materials handling
• Ability to operate forklifts and mechanical equipment safely
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and distribution processes
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic maintenance tasks
• Effective leadership skills with the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of e-commerce fulfillment procedures and 3PL operations
• Physical ability for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking within the warehouse environment
• Strong communication skills to coordinate across departments and ensure smooth operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
