Job Summary
Join our manufacturing team as a Packaging Operator, where your attention to detail will drive the production of packaging blocks used for shipping engines. In this role, you will operate equipment, ensure materials are handled safely and efficiently, and adhere to safety and quality standards.
Duties
- Operate bandsaw
- Use Pallet jack
- Use Baler to dispose of scrap materials
- Stack Final Block Product and prepare for shipment
- Perform routine facility cleaning and ensure workstations are free of debris to prevent workplace hazards
- Perform routine mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs on packaging equipment to minimize downtime.
- Handle materials efficiently using material handling equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper storage and movement within the warehouse.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with packaging equipment, hand tools, and material handling equipment operation including forklifts.
- Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions.
- Basic math skills for measurements and quality checks during packaging processes.
- Experience working in manufacturing facilities or warehouse environments is highly preferred.
- Excellent safety protocol adherence with a focus on safe lifting techniques and hazard prevention.
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
