Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Press Operator located in West Springfield, MA. The Press Operator will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and maintaining printing presses to ensure efficient production of high-quality flexible packaging. Daily tasks include operating and troubleshooting machinery, performing quality control checks, and ensuring production runs are completed on schedule. - Experience with Machine Operation and a solid understanding of printing machinery
- Strong skills in Quality Control and ensuring adherence to company quality standards
- Knowledge of Printing techniques and processes, particularly in a flexographic printing environment
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting issues during operation and making necessary adjustments
- Familiarity with Pre-press processes and preparing equipment for production
- Attention to detail and an understanding of safety and operational protocols
- Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant experience or certifications in printing and packaging processes are a plus
