Location & Travel: This is a remote position. Preference will be given to candidates in Minnesota.

Compensation $60,000-$85,000/ year, commensurate with experience

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Monitor high volume of inquiries regarding the status and other payment information
- Correspond with vendors, respond to inquiries, and produce monthly reports
- Assist with month end close
- Reconcile monthly statements to ensure all outstanding invoices have been received and entered
- Work closely with employees on invoice entries
- Assist within other areas of the Accounting Department
- Showcase excellent customer service for both internal and external customers
- Ensure accuracy of accounts payable related to general ledger accounts
- Adhere to tax regulations, such as sales/use tax and 1099 reporting requirements.
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Assist with accounts receivable billings
- PO Matching
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or other related field preferred
- Minimum 4 years of accounts payable experience and general accounting knowledge
- Experience working in Microsoft Suite and/ or Spectrum accounting software preferred
- Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the goal of zero injuries.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work with financial data are important.
- Strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
- Maintain an organized paper and electronic filing system
- Advanced Excel skills
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
- Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently to establish and manage work priorities, activities, and timelines to achieve results
- Ability to review, summarize, and report findings and recommendations
Compensation $60,000-$85,000/ year, commensurate with experience
