PACIV is seeking an experienced DeltaV Batch Automation Engineer to support production‑critical Emerson DeltaV systems in regulated life sciences manufacturing. This is a hands‑on, onsite engineering role focused on real manufacturing systems, not theoretical design work.

This is not a remote monitoring or documentation‑only role. This is a production‑critical automation engineering position.
What You Will Do
- Design, configure, and support Emerson DeltaV DCS and DeltaV Batch
- Apply ISA‑88 batch control principles, including recipes, phases, and modules
- Support automation for manufacturing and skid‑based process systems
- Troubleshoot and optimize systems in cGMP production environments
- Execute system upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives
- Partner with Validation to ensure compliance with cGMP, GAMP, and 21 CFR Part 11
- Integrate DeltaV systems with Allen‑Bradley PLCs, HMI/SCADA platforms, and OSI PI
- Support legacy system remediation and long‑term system reliability
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- 6 years of hands‑on Emerson DeltaV experience
- Strong experience with DeltaV Batch
- Deep understanding of ISA‑88 batch automation
- Experience in regulated pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing
- Familiarity with P&IDs, URS, FS, DS, and control system documentation
- Strong troubleshooting skills in production‑critical environments
Preferred Experience
- Allen‑Bradley ControlLogix
- iFIX
- OSI PI
- Foundation Fieldbus or DeviceNet
