About the position:
The Director of Provider Engagement is a driven sales individual responsible for developing and executing a strategic market-mapping and engagement plan to fuel growth in D2C, Medicaid, and Commercial populations. This individual will establish and maintain high-impact partnerships with providers (OB/GYNs, health systems) in key markets (including PA). The primary goal is to drive membership growth by articulating the value of Pacify’s doula and lactation services as an essential extension of care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic provider engagement plans across multiple markets to drive membership growth for the organization.
- Own the full-cycle outreach and relationship development process, including stakeholder mapping, generating target lists, contacting providers through all channels (phone, email), meeting with and educating providers on Pacify’s doula and lactation services, tracking referrals, and reporting results.
- Cultivate new and existing relationships with key health care providers, including clinical and administrative leaders of health systems and provider groups.
- Position Pacify’s value proposition to providers effectively based on the provider’s goals, a deep understanding of the product, and the challenges of healthcare providers.
- Conduct informative webinars, events, and training for health care providers.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to ensure the end-to-end provider outreach strategy and engagement efforts are successful.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting to track and analyze the effectiveness of efforts, including campaign performance, meetings completed, referrals generated, and member impact.
- Collaborate with on-the-ground Pacify doulas in other geographical markets (outside of PA) to attend in-person events and office visits.
- Contribute to company culture and success in a variety of ways, including providing input on overall strategy, operational improvements, and tactical execution.
Qualifications:.
- 5 years of experience in a healthcare sales, business development, account management or community outreach role.
- Knowledge of the healthcare, digital health, and provider landscape, including reimbursement models, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, build relationships, and influence decision-makers.
- Strong presentation skills; proficient in designing presentations and using PowerPoint and Google Slides.
- Data-driven to hit targets, tracking current progress, refining approach and sharing with market leaders.
- Strong project management skills; proficient at digging into the technical and operational details and collaborating with internal resources to develop new processes and operational workflows.
- Passionate about improving maternal health disparities and outcomes, as well as improving the birthing experience through doula support.
- An ability and desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial spirit to learn quickly and adjust as needed to meet goals.
- Ability to travel locally within Pennsylvania for in-person meetings with provider practices.
