We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Accountant to join our San Juan Capistrano team in a multifaceted role supporting accounting, financial administration, and general coordination. This role may support work across Pacifico Group and affiliated entities, as well as select principal-related matters, and is well suited for someone who enjoys variety, exercises sound judgment, and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.
This role reports directly to the CFO / Managing Director.
The ideal candidate is dependable, resourceful, and eager to take ownership of both financial and administrative responsibilities with professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and strong attention to detail.
What You’ll Do
Accounting & Financial Administration
- Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and other financial records
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Maintain financial schedules and ledgers in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities within Pacifico Group
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, as needed
- Organize tax documentation for principals, nonprofits, partnerships, and related entities, coordinating with external tax advisors as needed
- Manage principal bill pay, household staff payroll, and related credit card reconciliations
- Collect and reconcile business documentation to expense reports and credit card statements
- Organize and maintain entity documents, accounting records, and supporting files
- Assist in the development and improvement of accounting processes
- Support special projects and ad hoc requests, as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals, principals, privately held businesses, investment platforms, or closely held entities strongly preferred
- Experience with Sage Intacct and/or BILL.com is a plus
- CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with spreadsheets and financial schedules
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong discretion and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive financial information
- Willingness to work full-time onsite in our San Juan Capistrano office
