Position Summary:
The Project Manager is the lead on assigned projects, responsible for managing all aspects of execution — from kickoff to closeout. This is a travel-based role, with work performed primarily at job sites across the U.S. Projects typically range from $100,000 to $10,000,000 and span environmental remediation, civil construction, and infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, staffing, resource allocation, and execution
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards
- Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with estimating teams on bids and proposals when not assigned to active projects
- Administer contracts, change orders, RFIs, and project documentation
- Drive schedule adherence and productivity to meet performance goals
- Provide leadership and guidance to field teams
Qualifications:
- 5 years of project management experience in construction or environmental services
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and large-scale projects
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, cost controls, and scheduling
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75% or more depending on project assignment)
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
