What We Do

We support students across the education journey by

• Providing academic help and mentoring.
• Partnering with families to strengthen engagement and support.
• Collaborating with schools to improve student success.
• Helping students prepare for college and career opportunities.
  
  

Responsibilities include

• Help with classroom and family engagement activities, such as events, workshops, or enrichment programs.
• Gather and organize community resources, and create easy-to-use materials like documents, presentations, or media.
• Support staff in making learning materials and communications that help students succeed.
• Assist with planning programs or projects that match your skills, interests, and schedule.
• Track and document participation and feedback to help improve programs.
• Share ideas and creative solutions to make student and family engagement even better.
• Take on other supportive tasks as needed - your responsibilities will be tailored to your interests, strengths, and availability.
  
  

As Part Of The Lincoln Street Elementary Team, You'll

• Work with students in and outside the classroom to support academic growth.
• Assist with family engagement and activities.
• Help plan and deliver lessons or activities.
• Support everyday school needs, such as supply distribution and communication tools.

Qualifications

Required

• Interest in education, youth development, or community engagement.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions from supervising teachers.
• Comfortable using computers and digital tools to create documents, presentations, or simple media.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Creative, flexible, and willing to learn new skills.
• Enjoy working with children, families, and school staff.
• Motivated, reliable, and able to take initiative.
• Availability to work hours that may vary based on student schedules and program needs.
