PLC / Maintenance Technician
Location: North Liberty, IN (Onsite Only)
Shift: 2nd Shift — Mon–Fri, 3pm–11pm (Every other Saturday)
Salary: $75K–$90K
Relocation: None – Local candidates only

About the Role
Join a global leader in aluminum extrusion manufacturing. This role supports installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical equipment and PLC-based control systems in a high-volume production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-based control systems
- Perform PLC/HMI configuration and minor program changes (alarms, timers, etc.)
- Assist with electrical equipment installation, start-up, and upgrades
- Document and communicate control system changes to maintenance teams
- Work with suppliers for technical support as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Knowledge of Windows OS, PC/software configurations, and PLC software interaction
- Must pass written and hands-on testing
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–5 years maintenance experience
- Associate degree in electrical/electronic technology a plus
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC-5, SLC-500, ControlLogix, PanelView Plus
- Familiarity with ControlNet, Ethernet, DH , DeviceNet, and other industrial protocols
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and combustion systems
