Job Overview
Pacific Sundance Construction specializes in Healthcare Commercial Construction, with a focus in Senior Living Environments. The Construction Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in managing construction activities on the project site.
Responsibilities and duties include the following:
Responsibilities
- Coordinate work with the Subcontractors.
- Scheduling daily activities on-site.
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and subcontracts and ensuring that all work is installed per these Contract Documents.
- Daily Logs and Weekly Reports.
- Coordination meetings with Subcontractors.
- Creating & updating the project schedule.
- New project job-walks with the project team (PM, Owner, Architect/Engineers).
- Assisting the Project Manager in creating budgets, contracts, and document control.
- Communicate with the project team.
- Ability to solve problems and use resources to find solutions.
- Maintain a safe jobsite per OSHA standards.
- Supervise and coordinate multiple projects.
Skills and Abilities
- Corporate communication via email and reports.
- Ability to use a computer and run a paperless jobsite.
- Construction computer software such as BlueBeam, MS Excel, & Procore.
- Willing to travel up to (3) hours to a jobsite.
- Blueprint reading
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 per year
