Propane Sales Account ManagerPacific States Petroleum, Inc. is an on-site fueling company servicing California and Reno, focusing on delivering products like diesel, unleaded, and propane. It all started in May of 2001 with one fuel truck, a small location in Pleasant Hill, and a big idea. This helps to provide a positive customer experience, where a dedicated team and highly responsive solutions are only a call away.Description: Propane Sales ManagerSales Requirements3-5 or more years of sales experience in cold-calling, telemarketing, and face-to-face strategies.Petroleum sales experience preferred (Diesel and/or Propane)Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers.Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications.Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.Demonstrated track record of producing results. Sales Representative Job DutiesEstablishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with new customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services. Makes telephone calls and in-person visits to generate interest, submit proposals, and achieve sales results by providing our product(s) and services. Service existing accounts and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule.Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as bi-monthly reports.Resolve customer situations by investigating problems; reviewing solutions; making sound decisions.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.Coordinates sales effort with administration, dispatch and management to ensure smooth transition.Skills/QualificationsCustomer Service, Meeting Sales Goals, Closing Skills, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Motivation for Sales, Time Management and Disciplined in Sales.CompensationWe provide a generous commission plan with a guaranteed salary, along with a sales incentive plan.
