What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Sampler position at Pacific Spice Company?
Job Summary
Sample incoming, processed and inventory raw materials to be analyzed or used by the laboratory while complying with Food Safety Programs such as Good Manufacturing Practices, SOP, SSOP, Glass Policy, Allergen Program and HACCP, as applicable, while maintaining a clean & organized workspace. Responsible for Food Defense.
Major Responsibilities
- Quality Control Sampling (Incoming Raw Material, Shelf Life, R&D Samples,Misc., Etc.)
- Quality Control Information Data Entry, Filing & Organization
- Provide assistance to the Quality Control Manager & Quality Control Technicians
- Maintenance of Quality Control Reference Samples (Organization & Updating)
- Perform any other duties as requested by Management
- Performs other Customer Service, Sales or Purchasing duties as needed
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma. Prior experience in the Food Industry is a plus
- Basic practical knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Good communication skills.
Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Salary : $17 - $23
