Position Summary

:PSI is the largest privately owned shipyard in Hawaii, with two of the largest dry docks in the state. We have been in business since 1944 and have a large labor force of skilled craftsman with a full support staff of professionals who comprise of engineering, project management, QA, EHS, accounting, contracts, and human resources

The Project Engineer serves as the primary technical representative for assigned projects from planning through customer turnover. The position works closely with Project Management, Production, Planning, QA, Estimating, Procurement, and customers to develop engineering solutions, prepare work packages, resolve production issues, and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with contract requirement

  • ns.Provide liaison between Engineering, Project Management, and production operations to resolve any issues, improvements and changes necessary for deliverabl

  • ce:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or Naval Architectu

  • ed.0–5 years of engineering experience; ship repair, marine, industrial, or heavy construction experience preferred.
