Summary:
The Retail Counter - Sales at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our Retail team supporting efforts to provide excellent service to our guests. This position involves product knowledge, quality control, and building customer relationships and is ideal for someone friendly and adaptable.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service Excellence:
- Provide knowledge of products along with cooking and serving suggestions to patrons.
- Assist customers with inquiries and complaints.
2. Product Management and Display:
- Stock and merchandise all seafood products in the display case.
- Rotate product as needed.
3. Compliance and Safety:
- Demonstrate detailed knowledge of food safety at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
4. Operations Support:
- Operate scales and cash register.
- Take restaurant orders for dine in and take out customers.
- Assist kitchen and wait staff when necessary.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.
What you bring to Pacific Seafood
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of prior experience in food counter sales, merchandising of food products, or other related experience.
- A food handler’s card or the ability to obtain one
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective communication skills
Preferred:
- Prior seafood experience

- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
