What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at Pacific Sanitation Services?
We are currently hiring full-time service technician. Responsibilities include working independently driving, servicing, sanitizing, delivery, and pickup of portable sanitation equipment, including restrooms, hand wash stations, tanks and restroom trailers with an emphasis on safety. Start location near 131 and FF/Truman Rd (north of Oak Grove). Pay increase after 90 days.
Must have a good driving record, minimum Class E license.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver, service and pickup portable sanitation equipment, in small and/or large quantities
- Completing daily route in an efficient and timely manner
- Maintain assigned routes with a positive attitude while also maintaining excellent customer service
- Complete required paperwork daily including Post-Trip Inspections, work orders, and route sheets and repairs to our rentals.
- Work independently and productively while still keeping open communication with Route Dispatcher.
- Maintain Safety Standards as established and required by the company and DOT.
- Clean, stock and keep organize vehicles after each route
- Special/Other projects as assigned by Management Team
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Drug-Free work Place
- Able to pass DOT Physical
- Valid Class E Driver's License
- Clean driving record for the last 5 years
- Must be able to work some overtime (0-10hrs/week), no weekends
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs. or more
- Must be able to read maps and precisely follow directions
- Must maintain professionalism at all times, be reliable and punctual
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and be self-motivated
- Ability to work all seasons and weather conditions
