Pacific Rims, a family-owned wheel repair and rim restoration shop serving customers since 1995, is looking for a hardworking Production Worker to join our shop team. This hands-on role covers all stages of the wheel restoration process, from mounting and balancing to welding, cleaning, and finishing.
Responsibilities:
- Mount and balance wheels/tires accurately and safely
- Weld and repair cracked or damaged wheels
- Clean and sandblast wheels to prepare surfaces for finishing
- Apply powder coating to wheels, ensuring a smooth, high-quality finish
- Follow shop safety procedures when operating equipment and handling materials
- Inspect finished wheels for quality before completion
- Keep the work area clean and organized
Requirements:
- Previous experience with welding, sandblasting, or powder coating preferred but not required — will train the right candidate
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools
- Ability to lift and carry wheels/tires (up to ~50 lbs)
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work standing for extended periods
Schedule:
Part-time, starting at 2:00 PM until work is completed
Pay:
Starting at minimum wage (hourly)
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
