What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chaplain position at Pacific Ridge?
Looking for full time Chaplain for residential alcohol & drug treatment center. Typical work shift could include evenings and weekends, noon-9 pm. We are located in a country setting, so reliable personal transportation is a must.
Job Details:
- Duties include meeting with individual clients, spiritual assessments, conducting group sessions, and other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work well with adults in group care such as: display sensitivity, flexibility, emotional maturity, deal with frustration and conflict, a sense of humor, and a capacity to respect persons with differing life-styles and philosophies. Must pass State required criminal records check.
- Experience as a Chaplain or education in religions is a plus.
No drug, alcohol, cannabis, or nicotine use permitted, on or off the job (this includes no CBD, nicotine patches, vaping, gum, etc.). No exceptions for occasional use. This is a strict requirement; please don't apply if you use any of these substances. In addition, people in recovery must have two years of continuous sobriety.
