Overview

We are seeking a Corporate Director of Financial Planning and Systems to provide enterprise leadership for financial planning, analytics, and finance systems across PRS and affiliated entities. This role partners closely with executive leadership to support strategic decision‑making, operational performance, and system‑enabled financial excellence.

About the role: The Corporate Director of Financial Planning & Systems provides enterprise leadership for financial planning, analytics, and finance systems enablement across Pacific Retirement Services (PRS) and affiliated entities . This role directs the development of budgets, forecasts, long-range financial plans, cash and capital models, and performance reporting that support executive and operational decision making across regulated healthcare, senior living, and housing operations. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance & Accounting, the Director serves as the owner for Workday Financials and Workday Adaptive Planning (and related analytics platforms), establishing governance, prioritization, and standards to improve data integrity, reduce manual workarounds, and strengthen internal controls. The Director partners closely with Accounting, Operations, IT, Project Management, HR, and executive leadership, and may present financial and performance insights to Boards, Committees, and resident groups as requested.

How You'll Do It

  • Provide enterprise leadership for financial planning, analytics, and finance systems across PRS and affiliated entities, supporting executive and operational decision‑making in regulated senior living, healthcare, and housing environments.
  • Direct annual budgeting, reforecasting, and multi‑entity financial planning cycles, including assumptions, templates, timelines, review cadence, and long‑range financial and scenario modeling to support strategy, growth initiatives, and performance accountability.
  • Own and optimize finance systems—including Workday Financials and Workday Adaptive Planning—by establishing governance, prioritization, and standards that improve data integrity, strengthen internal controls, and reduce reliance on manual workarounds.
  • Lead the development of executive‑ready dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting covering revenue, margins, occupancy drivers, rates, payer mix, cash flow, capital performance, and service line analytics, ensuring consistency of definitions and governance.
  • Provide analytical leadership for strategic initiatives such as refinancing, capital planning, development feasibility, acquisitions, and divestitures by directing business cases, pro formas, sensitivity analyses, and board‑level materials.
  • Oversee treasury analytics, cash forecasting, investment performance reporting, and debt compliance, including covenant tracking, bond disclosure support, and coordination with lenders, trustees, auditors, and external advisors.
  • Lead, coach, and develop FP&A, systems, and analytics team members by setting priorities, managing capacity, and building a culture of accountability, documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Accounting, Operations, IT, HR, Legal, Project Management, and executive leadership, translating financial and system insights into clear, actionable guidance for boards, committees, and leadership teams.

Salary: $160,000 - $175,000 / annually DOE bonus.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA, CPA, and/or CMA preferred.
  • Seven or more years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, finance systems, or analytics, including leadership responsibility.
  • Demonstrated experience optimizing enterprise finance systems and planning platforms, preferably Workday Financials and/or Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into executive‑level insights.
  • Experience supporting regulated environments such as healthcare, senior living, or housing, with working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
