Local Leasing & Account Coordinator – Colonie Center

The Local Leasing & Accounting Coordinator supports leasing, accounting and daily property operations. Working closely with the Local Leasing Manager, Property Accountant and General Manager, this role helps manage tenant accounts, financial records, lease administration and local leasing activity. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and comfortable balancing accounting and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

To succeed, you should have:
- College degree or accounting, leasing, or administrative experience
- Experience in retail or commercial real estate is a plus
- Strong Excel skills required; MRI experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Accounting & Financial Support Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, maintain vendor records and support accounts payable.
- Monitor cash receipts, tenant billing and account reconciliations.
- Maintain tenant sales, lease, receivable and security deposit records.
- Update and manage information within MRI.
- Support cash management, payroll reporting and funding allocations.
- Assist with financial reporting, budgets, audits, year-end reconciliations and 1099 preparation.
- Support special projects and other property accounting needs.
Leasing & Tenant Coordination Responsibilities:
- Support temporary leasing for kiosks, RMUs, in-line spaces and vending opportunities.
- Assist with lead generation, sales presentations and prospect follow-up.
- Prepare contracts, renewals, amendments and related leasing documents.
- Coordinate tenant move-ins, space turnover, displays and merchandising.
- Help tenants improve the presentation and performance of their spaces.
- Support leasing forecasts, budgets and day-to-day tenant coordination.
