We are looking for a full-time Quality Assurance Manager for the following job duties:

- Develop, oversee, and manage the company GFSI, Food Safety, Food Defense and quality programs with the intent to continuously improve processes, procedures and the company’s performance.
- Maintains and updates the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Analyze quality control production test results and provide feedback and interpretation to production management or staff. Stop production if serious defects or food safety issues are present.
- Performs daily and monthly inspections as necessary and reports findings and recommendations for correction or improvement.
- Produce reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, daily production quality, root cause analysis or quality trends.
- Document testing procedures, methodologies, and criteria.
- Review and update annually (minimum requirement) all SOPs and QA manuals.
- Study, implement and maintain local, state, and federal regulations of all food safety standards within the food industry.
- Maintain relationships with the various local, state, and federal inspectors and officers, specifically with the USDA and FDA.
- Responsible for all 3rd party audits and regulatory compliance.
- Works with cross functional teams to ensure company programs and policies are met.
- Oversees and reviews production and distribution sanitation processes and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in related field; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to three years warehouse or distribution experience with preferably one year experience in quality assurance. Previous supervisory experience highly preferred.
