Pacific Phoenix Group is a private psychiatric practice in Southwest Washington led by Elia Gonzalez-Rodriguez, MD. We specialize in treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and OCD, with an emphasis on non-invasive interventional modalities including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Spravato, and ketamine. Alongside our interventional program, we provide medication management for complex mood disorders across our East Vancouver, Salmon Creek, and Lakewood clinics.
We are a collaborative practice. Our clinicians consult with one another regularly, and new providers are supported rather than left to figure it out alone.
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient team.
This position focuses on medication management. Our MD's retains primary responsibility for acute treatment-resistant cases; as those patients stabilize on interventional treatment, they transition to this provider's panel for ongoing management. You will also carry a general medication management caseload including ADHD, bipolar disorder, and mood and anxiety disorders.
ADHD is a significant part of this role. We are specifically hoping to find someone with genuine interest and demonstrated strength in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating ADHD across the lifespan,, including thoughtful stimulant prescribing and monitoring.
You will have direct access to our interventional services and can refer patients for TMS, Spravato, or ketamine when clinically indicated.
Patient population: ages 16 and older.
You will work under the supervision of our Medical Director in accordance with clinic policy and all applicable state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient psychiatric medication management
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat ADHD, including controlled substance prescribing and monitoring
- Prescribe controlled and non-controlled medications within scope of practice
- Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust medications based on response
- Assume care of patients transitioning from the Medical Director's panel following stabilization
- Refer patients for TMS, Spravato, or ketamine when clinically appropriate
- Order labs and additional testing to rule out medical contributors
- Coordinate care with therapists, referring providers, and clinical staff
- Document care to regulatory and clinic standards
- Participate in educational events and company training
Qualifications
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience
- Minimum three years of outpatient or inpatient psychiatric experience
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
- Board certified
- Unrestricted Washington license, or ability to obtain upon hire
- Active DEA registration, or ability to obtain
- Comfort and confidence with ADHD diagnosis and treatment strongly preferred

Schedule and Structure
