Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist based in Rancho Mirage, CA. The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities include creating and implementing individualized treatment plans, tracking and documenting progress, collaborating with families and caregivers, and consulting with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care. You will also educate clients and families on effective communication strategies and maintain compliance with all relevant ethical and legal standards in the field.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Speech and Language Assessment, Diagnosis, and Treatment Planning
- Strong Communication, Interpersonal, and Collaboration Skills
- Ability to Develop and Adapt Therapy Programs for Diverse Needs
- Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practices in Speech Language Pathology
- Familiarity with Assistive Technologies and Augmentative Communication
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in California
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with pediatric and geriatric populations (non medical)
- Commitment to providing inclusive and culturally responsive care
