We are currently hiring Home Health Aides and Caregivers to join our growing network of care professionals. This role offers flexible hours, allowing you to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle while providing essential care to individuals in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing changes, and reporting findings accurately
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking
- Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Utilize specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance
- Document care activities thoroughly in compliance with healthcare standards and care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to deliver comprehensive care
- Maintain patient observation records diligently to track progress or identify concerns
Experience
- Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred
- Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous
- Familiarity with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and patient observation techniques
- Experience using Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids for transfers
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and protocols
- Strong communication skills for working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
