The Dental Front Office Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and plays a vital role in creating a positive experience. This position is responsible for scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, managing patient records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
  • Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations
  • Collect co-pays, handle billing, and process payments
  • Maintain patient charts and update records accurately
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous dental or medical front office experience preferred
  • Knowledge of dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 to $ 26.00 per hour
